At Hamilton Junior High students have the opportunity to join a team called the Event Alliance. Together with a teacher the team run a number of student based activities and events throughout the year such as: Socials, Mufti days, End of Term events, fundraisers and any others the Event Alliance may come up with!
Each term we hold one social and at least one Mufti day, with the themes changing each term. We also hold a whole school event at the end of each Term to celebrate student success and hard work.
Term 1 2021
In Term 1 the Event Alliance members were selected. This group of students will be meeting once a fortnight to discuss, plan and organise events for the school term. They will also be involved in gathering feedback from the whole school in order to ensure that all our students' ideas are heard.
We also held a ‘green’ themed Mufti Day on St Patrick's Day, an Easter Social and for our end of Term event we went as a school to Inflatable World where the teachers had just as much fun as the students.
