On Wednesday afternoons we run a Te Ao Maaori program for the whole school. Each term we focus on a new topic relating to the Maaori world. The learning is practical and creative with trips offsite to collect, gather, harvest and or learn about the set topic in a local setting. The program is designed to deepen our understanding of the Maaori world and cultural practices. The expertise of our technology and art specialists are used to deliver these lessons.
